The Armour Of God

Ephesians 6:11-17 says:

"Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full Armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the Breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can Extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helment of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God".

In the Christian life we battle against rulers and authorities (the powerful evil forces of fallen angels headed by satan, who is a vicious fighter)

1 Peters 5:8 says:

"Be Self-Controlled and Alert. Your Enemy the devil prowls around, like a Roaring Lion looking for someone to devour, Resist him, Stand Firm In Faith...."

To withstand their attacks, we must depend on God's strength and use every piece of his Armour. The whole body needs to be armed. As we do battle against "the powers of this dark world" We must fight in the strength of the church, whose power comes from the Holy Spirit.

With God's perspective we can see beyond our circumstances and know that Ultimate Victory Is Ours through Christ Jesus. Amen

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy GOD.

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married."

Israel: a land flowing with milk and honey

Prophetic scripture was fulfilled 61 years ago when Israel was made a nation and history was also made when over 1,100 churches in 49 countries showed unified support for Israel and the Jewish people in their church services by joining together as part of Christians United for Israel Sunday.   We are receiving reports from around the country and across the globe about the phenomenal event.  We will provide a detailed report and pictures, God willing.

I am your shield, your very great reward," But Abram said, "O Sovereign Lord, What can you give me since i remain child-less and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?" And Abram said "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir."

Then the word of the Lord came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir." He took him outside and said "Look up at the heavens and count the stars - if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

The Widow At Zerephath

1 Kings 17: 8-16

"Then the word of God came to him: Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you food." So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, "Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?" As she was going to get it, he called, "And bring me, please a piece of bread."

"As surely as the Lord your God lives," She replied, "I dont have any bread - only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it - and die." Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small cake of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord gives rain on the land.' "

She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah."

The promise of the almighty God to Abraham, it is not only that his will be many: it is that his seed will be "Stars" & "Vessels Unto Honour".

Isaiah 8: 18

"Here am i, and the children the Lord has given me. We are Signs and Symbols in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion"

Everyone who is a born again Christian is a seed of Abraham and so are for Signs and Wonders.

Divine Healing

Jesus Heals The Crippled Woman

Luke 13:11-12 & 16

"And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity."

"Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her"

Sickness is a direct consequence of the fall of man and his continuance in sin. Redemption not only dealt with sin but also its consequences, which includes sickness and diseases. Christ died on the cross; bore not only our sins, but also our sicknesses. Healing for our bodies from God comes to us through appropriation of the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary by faith in the word of God and manifestation of the gift of healing. Not only believers receive healing for our bodies, but also we may minister healing and deliverance to others in the name of Jesus. This can be accomplished by laying on of hands, praying for others in absentia and by getting bible believing church elders to anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
